Hello everybody and welcome to playteachers – the childrens role play game.

I am a primary school teacher with a wealth of experience in education having spent over 20 years working with children aged 4-11 in a variety of classroom environments. I currently work as a supply teacher and a major part of my role is to inspire children through firing their imagination.

I have two teenage daughters who as children loved to ‘playteachers’ over the years. They were always wanting me to provide them with ideas for their ‘lessons’. Many of their friends also enjoyed teaching through role play and one day a parent remarked how she would love to buy a pack as a birthday present for her daughter. It was this comment which served as the catalyst for me to begin work on designing the role play game. And so after many months of hard work, occasional frustration and lots of fun, I completed playteachers a few years ago.

playteachers marks a shift away from computer games and portable electronic gadgets. It encourages imagination through play, builds confidence and develops speaking and listening. Children have responded very enthusiastically to the game when it has been introduced into the classroom during wet play, or last thing on Friday afternoon during enrichment time. Indeed one child recently remarked:

” I love the game, it makes my toys come alive ”

The demand for playteachers has been fantastic since launching the pack in 2013. Two additional role play packs have since been designed, play lunchtimes and play school trips. These are designed to ‘top up’ the original playteachers pack.

All three games are now available as a Trio Pack.

Reviews for our packs have been amazing and we are proud winners of bizziebaby bronze and silver awards in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
